# Zero Data Retention

> ZDR availability across Exa products, and how a team turns on Zero Data Retention (ZDR).

Zero Data Retention (ZDR) is available on Enterprise plans and enabled per team.

On Agent runs, `previousRunId` is not available and `dataSources` can include only [ZDR-eligible Exa Connect providers](https://exa.ai/docs/agent/connect/overview.md#zero-data-retention). See [Exa Agent: Zero Data Retention](https://exa.ai/docs/agent/quickstart.md#zero-data-retention).

## Turn on ZDR

A team owner turns on ZDR by upgrading the team to Exa Enterprise from the [Enterprise plan page](https://dashboard.exa.ai/billing/enterprise-plan?from=docs) in the dashboard. The upgrade costs \$12,000 per year plus applicable tax, paid upfront, and includes:

* Zero Data Retention for the team
* \$12,000 in API credits, which expire at the end of each 12-month term
* A rate limit of 25 requests per second
